FAQ

When you arrive at Alsbury Baptist Church for your first visit, please park wherever you like. Next, look for someone in a golf cart heading your way. They will make sure to answer any questions you have and make sure you get where you need to go. This is especially helpful in cold or inclement weather.

Once you are at the main building, you’ll find an information table to the right and a coffee bar to the left just inside the doors. (Good luck deciding which to go visit first!) No matter what you choose you’ll find a warm welcome either way. Just be sure to make your way by the Welcome Center to get answers to any questions you may have.

WHAT ARE WORSHIP GATHERINGS LIKE?

Worship Gatherings at Alsbury Church are casual and contemporary. They are opportunities to connect with each other and encounter God through worship, biblically-based teaching and prayer.

We believe when we come together as a church, both on Sunday and throughout the week, God will transform us and use us to change the world.

We’re excited for you to join us! We want your experience with us to be stress-free!

HOW LONG ARE WORSHIP GATHERINGS?

Our time together normally lasts a little over an hour, but we think you will want to come early and stay late to grab a cup of coffee and encourage one another.

You can attend our In Person Campus or Online Campus broadcast live on FacebookYouTube, and the Church App.

WHAT IS THE TYPICAL ATTIRE?

We want you to feel welcome just as you are; so please come how you feel comfortable. Business casual attire is most common for people worshiping at Alsbury.

IS CHILDCARE AVAILABLE?

Alsbury offers so much more than child care! You can be confident no matter their age or abilities, your children will find a safe and loving environment. Preschool children are welcomed by leaders excited to explore the amazing world God has created. Elementary students (K-5) encounter a high-energy atmosphere designed with their learning styles in mind. All of our leaders are background checked and will do their absolute best to keep your children safe and engaged.

WHAT IS THE SPECIAL NEEDS MINISTRY LIKE?

Kids living with Developmental Differences

Kingdom Kids is a self-contained class for children living with special needs. Our staff is happy to discuss your child’s specific abilities so we can give him or her a great experience with minimal stress. We are happy to give you and your child a tour of the facility during the week.

Adults living with Developmental Differences

Forever Friends is a vibrant Life Group for adults impacted by intellectual and developmental differences (IDD).

Our Forever Friends experience Bible study in creative ways that meet them at their level of understanding. Forever Friends is one of the most active and engaging Life Groups at Alsbury.
