Center for ASD

We firmly believe people with Autism learn and grow more with experience. For this reason we strive to find real world situations and community service opportunities for them to take part in that will lead to strong foundations for a happy life.
Below is a list of some of their programs and events. Visit their website for more:

X-cel is a day program for all ages with a focus on being a productive member of the community. Participants will be involved in various activities designed to work together and strengthen their skills. Structured activities will include socialization, play, reading, language, math, the arts, life skills and community service projects.

Thrive provides emotional support in a variety of ways. Families are brought together where the children can play and be accepted while the adults discuss the challenges and rewards they face being part of the special needs community. We also offer music therapy, a parent support group lead by a licensed counselor, but best of all a place for families to find comfort. The social and life skills the kids learn and the support the families receive reach far past the doors of our Center.

Grow is a combination of social groups and tutoring that families can choose to participate in after-school. All of the programs we promote aid in the children building their abilities and skills to help deal with and enjoy daily life.
It will allow for kids to learn and play, interactively, in a fun and safe environment.
