  • When I was a new believer in 1969, there was a saying around the church that introduced me to the Lord, “Prayer Changes Things.” As it was true in 1969 it is true today, prayer does change things, from spiritual and physical healing to a new child of God, our father in heaven has given us such a great avenue to impact lives for His kingdom. There is a story in the book of Acts where Dr. Luke tells us that the church devoted itself daily to prayer and as a result God showed up with wonder. Oh how we forget that God wants to here from us not for His benefit but ours.

Thanks Scott for reminding us that prayer is vital for all of us. Thanks for Listening.

  • We normally pray together at night, but we were just talking about starting the day out together in prayer. We both individually spend time in the word in the mornings but feel the need to be united in prayer and giving more time to hear/fellowship with God. Stressful times, have a way of getting our attention.

  • Thanks Scott. Yes, prayer is essential to our spiritual walk with our Lord & Savior. Blessings.
