Port Arthur Mission and Remodel

Purpose After Hurricane Harvey hit the Texas coast in the fall of 2017, we have been sending teams to help rebuild the area. A team is needed to work our Port Arthur Hurricane Harvey mission project. Purpose A group of men (about 20) from a church in south dallas will be coming to Alsbury on Friday night, May 4. These are largely unchurched men whose wives are active in church. They may attend periodically, but they do not exhibit nearly the commitment that their wives do. Port Arthur Work Team

This will be our most ambitious trip yet. We want to send a 12-member team to work our Port Arthur Hurricane Harvey mission project. We will be hanging cabinets and laying tile and potentially see a house to completion and a family made whole. The trip is scheduled for a longer period of time to accommodate the work needing to be done, allow for rest as well as a more flexible schedule for arrival and departure.
