Welcome to Alsbury! We are glad that you are interested in visiting our church. You probably have some questions, and hopefully we will answer most of those questions here in the website. When are your worship services?

Alsbury offers three identical worship services on Sunday mornings at 8:00, 9:15, and 10:30. Pick the time that is most convenient for you and join us.

How do I get to Alsbury?

The church building is located on Alsbury Blvd. next to Taylor Elementary School and is easy to find.

What can I expect from a worship service?

Be prepared for an upbeat, enthusiastic worship experience with drama, multi-media presentations, and contemporary music. Our pastor presents the truths of the Bible in a compelling manner each week. Dress comfortably! Coats and ties are very rare at Alsbury!
Our worship services rarely end with the final amen. Folks seem to hang around, enjoying each other's company and sharing smiles and small talk. Kids are at play and laughter fills the air.

Do you offer programs for children?

We sure do! We provide nursery care during all three worship services. We offer a special and unique worship experience geared specifically for grade school kids during the 9:15 hour in the children's building. We also have small group Bible study for children in both the 9:15 and 10:30 hours. In addition, we offer Sunday evening programming for kids at 5:00pm, and on Wednesday nights there is C.O.W. (Camp On Wednesdays) at 6:00pm.

What about teenagers?

On Sunday mornings our students (7th - 12th grade) meet for small group discussion and Bible study during the 10:30 hour. On Sunday evenings our students meet at 5:00pm at different host homes for a time of games, fellowship, food, and Bible study. Wednesday evenings (6:30 - 7:45pm) is BURN - a worship time designed specifically for students.

Do you offer programs/ministries for me?

Alsbury has a wide variety of ministries and programs for people in all walks of life. From children to seniors and everyone in between we have something for you. Please check out our ministries page to see all that we have for you.

How can I learn more about your church and possible church membership?

One Sunday each month, we offer a brief presentation of the basics of Alsbury and church membership called the ABC's of A.B.C. (Alsbury Baptist Church). This is a chance for you to meet our pastor, Scott Sharman, as well as other staff members. Lunch will be provided for you and your family. If interested in attending, contact Scott Sharman () to make your reservation.
