The Special Needs Ministry
Alsbury Baptist Church is dedicated to serving individuals of all ages with disabilities and their families. We recognize the value of each person regardless of their mental or physical disability. Alsbury’s Special Needs Ministry strives to provide a safe, loving, Christ-centered program for the individual with special needs while parents and siblings attend worship service, small group classes or serve in the church. Our goal is not only to love and serve these individuals, but to empower them to become vital members of the body of Christ.
The Kingdom Kids is Alsbury’s small group class for children with special needs. This class utilizes a wide variety of fun activities, crafts, and lessons to ensure that every child at Alsbury is learning important biblical principles in a way that will have them excited to come to church. Kingdom Kids meets every Sunday in room 202 (in the portable buildings).

This small group welcomes adults with developmental/intellectual disabilities. With the assistance of volunteers, this class offers a safe place to connect, build friendships and experience the love of Christ. Forever Friends meets every Sunday in the Fellowship Hall at 9:00.
