SMALL GROUPS - Sharing Life Together
Alsbury is not a church WITH small groups - Alsbury is a church OF small groups. Our goal is to help people become fully-devoted followers of Christ as we study the Bible together and establish meaningful relationships with each other.
Sundays
On Sunday mornings, we offer many options to choose from for small group Bible studies.
Adult small groups meet in both the 9:15 and 10:30 Sunday morning hours.
Middle school and high school small groups meet at 10:30.
Age-based small groups for children are provided in both the 9:15 and 10:30 hours. A dynamic children’s worship service during the 9:15 hour complements our small-group ministry to allow preschoolers through elementary-age kids to attend personalized ministry.
Nursery care is, of course, available for our youngest children to allow parents the opportunity to study and worship.
Connect Groups
Connect Groups are two or more people meeting to honestly love one another by sharing life, praying together, and joining in fellowsjhip. Connect Groups meet weely, biweekly, or monthly in homes throughout the community. Connect Groups offer a place to belong as we build meaningful relationships. Groups for children and teens meet on Sundays and Wednesdays.
Jesus gives us the right to become children of God. That makes us part of God's family. One of the main reasons we were put on earth to learn how to love and relate to other people. Connect Groups give us the opportunity to commit to each other on a deeper level. Connect Groups give us a place to belong, a place to build friendships in a nonreligious environment, a bridge for friends who are unchurched, a place for genuine, honest, sometimes soul-wrenching sharing and loving, a place to be accepted for who you are and where you are in life.
