Alsbury KIDS Ministry (AKM) exists to help kids
Know and worship God
Imitate Jesus Christ in their relationships
Develop their spiritual gifts and abilities
Serve the Church and community
At AKM, our desire is to serve as a resource for families as they live for Jesus Christ. Our goal is to partner with parents in the discipleship of their children by placing influential adults in the life of each child. Our approach to ministering to children is focused around Worship, Community, Faith Development, and Service.
What happens when I bring my child to Alsbury for worship?
At 9:00 AM, 1st-6th Grade will meet upstairs for LAB (Learn About the Bible). The LAB involves games, skits, creative learning, stories, music, and videos that will be sure to engage your child as we learn more about the Bible and God’s love for each of us. During the 10:30 hour, The LAB continues with a large group Bible lesson followed by age-appropriate small groups.
For safety measures, parents or caregivers will need to come with your child to check in upstairs.
The younger children (Nursery – Kindergarten) will be meeting in the rooms of our original building for both hours. They will engage in Bible Study and activities that will communicate the love of God and their special place in the Kingdom.
