Invite Them In

Inclusion [inˈklo͞oZHən]

A NOUN: the action or state of including or of being included within a group or structure.
We sincerely intend for an inclusive spirit to permeate every aspect of our ministry.

Alsbury is structured around a philosophy of inclusion. We strive to include any and all in every area of our life together.
The easiest and least threatening point of connection with the Alsbury family is a Sunday morning worship service. People are able to maintain some measure of anonymity as they check out what Alsbury is all about.

The Best Time

As Easter Sunday approaches people become more and more aware of the spiritual side of the day. They may not fully comprehend the significance of Jesus’ resurrection but they are open to conversation about Easter.

Easter is all around us. Store shelves are stocked with various incidentals that our culture deems important for a joyous Easter. Our hope is to present the full message of Easter to many of our neighbors.

  • Have you encouraged someone this week to join you in celebrating all that Jesus did on behalf of us all?
  • Are you praying for that person, asking the Lord to reveal Himself to your friend, neighbor, or family member through our Easter week services?

Easter @ Alsbury

Our Tenebrae Service will begin at 7:30 on Friday evening, April 19. Together we will reflect over all that surrounded Jesus as he willingly laid down his life for the sake of us all. Invite others to join us for this sober remembrance.

The atmosphere will be radically different on Sunday morning as we boldly declare Jesus victory over sin and the grave! Our Easter Sunday services will take place at both 9:00 and 10:30 on Sunday, April 21. Invite neighbors, friends, and family to join us!

This Sunday we will again provide invitation cards that can be used to invite others to join us for Easter services. Take a few and give them out to the people you encounter during the week.

I am praying today for those we invite to Easter services at Alsbury.
